Our Journey
At PRE Security, our journey began with co-founders John "JP" Peterson and Paul Jespersen recognized a critical gap in the industry. Having developed and brought to market numerous cybersecurity products, including EDR, NDR, and cutting-edge XDR technology, they posed a pivotal question that became the foundational inspiration of PRE Security: "Why do we continue to build technology that only detects threats after they occur?" This sparked an idea – What if we could predict cyber attacks before they happen? Fueled this vision, JP and Paul embarked on a mission to technically solve this challenge, leading to the birth of PRE Security. The solution we built was based on an Agentic AI architecture, before that name was even coined. Today, we proudly offer a transformative AI Native solution with predictive analytics revolutionizing the way organizations protect themselves.

With backgrounds from industry leaders such as NetScreen, Fortinet, Barracuda, Cisco Systems, Splunk, Optiv, Cyberreason, Zscaler, Lastline, Stellar Cyber, and more. We are proud to have dedicated leaders who are making PRE Security a trusted ally in the battle against cyber threats.
Additionally, PRE Security is proud to have two United States Marine Corps Veterans as part of the executive team. Their experience working with the U.S. Department of Defense provides our organization with a unique perspective on cyber threats, enhancing our ability to protect our clients effectively.

At PRE, we believe that through the recent advancement of compound AI systems such as generative AI, predictive analysis, agentic AI, LLMs, RAG, GPTs, etc., it was time to re-imagine SecOps from a completely AI Native approach while introducing the ability to predict malicious actors, assets, and incidents, helping organizations shift from reactive cybersecurity to proactive, preventative cybersecurity and forever changing security operations for the better.

Our mission is to lead the industry from the reactive Detect & Respond era of the past decade to a more proactive approach focused on Predict & Prevent, by leveraging an AI Native architecture to bring security operations fully into the modern AI era.
INNOVATION
PRE Security has secured multiple patents around the concepts of converting logs and alerts to natural language in order to better utilize Agentic AI for generative, advance correlation across all data sets, removing barriers between data silos, and adding predictive capabilities to security analytics.
